Self-exclusion

Purpose and scope

Alwaysvegas provides self-exclusion and time-out facilities to promote responsible gambling. This policy applies to all customer accounts registered with Alwaysvegas and governs all self-exclusion and related measures implemented by the operator.

Self-exclusion options

  • Time-Out (short break)

    Time-Out is a temporary restriction that prevents access to all Alwaysvegas products, including deposits and withdrawals, for the period selected in the Account Profile. Time-Out can be revoked only after 24 hours from the initial request by submitting a revocation via the in-account tools or by contacting Customer Support. Upon expiry, the Time-Out automatically ends and the account is reactivated.

  • Self-Exclusion (longer break)

    Self-exclusion is a longer, pre-defined break from gambling. The account will be closed to all gambling activity and deposits/withdrawals for the period chosen. The available durations are pre-defined and cannot be altered. To initiate, the user must submit a self-exclusion request to Alwaysvegas via the in-account Self-Exclusion interface or by email to the dedicated Self-Exclusion team. The process includes an initial cooling-off phase and a requirement for user confirmation; if no confirmation is received within 24 hours after the cooling-off phase, the request may be withdrawn and the account remains active. At the end of the selected period, the account is automatically reactivated.

Effect during exclusion

During Time-Out or Self-Exclusion, the user will not be able to log in, place bets, or access any Alwaysvegas products. Deposits and withdrawals are blocked for the duration of the exclusion, and the account is unavailable for gambling activity. The user will be excluded from promotional offers during the exclusion period. Alwaysvegas may implement additional measures to enforce the exclusion across linked services.

Durations and reactivation

Self-exclusion periods are fixed and pre-defined. Typical options include 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2 years, 5 years, or an indefinite term. Periods are non-negotiable. Upon expiry or termination, the account is automatically reactivated unless the user has chosen to extend or modify the arrangement in accordance with the self-exclusion process.

Linked accounts and devices

Self-exclusion applies to accounts linked by household, shared devices, payment addresses, email addresses, IP addresses, or other environments where devices are shared. Users operating multiple accounts should request exclusion for all linked accounts to ensure comprehensive protection.

Financial protection and limits

Users may set personal limits within the account (for spending, time, or loss thresholds). If a user exceeds any imposed limit, further actions under that limit are blocked. Any revocation of limits or exclusions requires a written or electronic notice to Alwaysvegas. Alwaysvegas reserves the absolute discretion to deny such revocation. Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that self-exclusion is observed and no promotional material is sent to excluded customers. However, Alwaysvegas cannot guarantee that third-party actions or inadvertent communications will not occur.

Promotions and communications

During an active exclusion, Alwaysvegas will suppress promotional communications related to the platform. Users acknowledge that isolated miscommunications may occur and Alwaysvegas bears no liability for such incidents.

Data protection and confidentiality

All self-exclusion requests are processed with confidentiality and in accordance with Alwaysvegas privacy and data-protection policies. Personal data will be handled in compliance with applicable law and regulatory requirements and retained only as long as necessary to enforce self-exclusion and ongoing compliance.

Amendments and governing law

This Self-Exclusion Policy is subject to amendment. It is governed by Alwaysvegas Terms and Conditions and applicable law of the relevant jurisdiction. Updated versions will be published and take effect on the stated date or immediately where so specified.

Initiating self-exclusion

To begin, access the Account menu, select Self-Exclusion, choose the desired period, and submit the request. A confirmation will be sent by email. If confirmation is not received within the specified timeframe, the request may be withdrawn and the account remains active. Alternatively, users may initiate the request by emailing the dedicated Self-Exclusion team with their decision and account details. During the waiting period, the account will be disabled in accordance with the selected period.
